One Third of Child Deaths and 11 Percent of Global Disease Burden Due to Maternal and Child Undernutrition
Maternal (tag Maternal) and Child (tag Child) (tag child) undernutrition (tag undernutrition) are the cause of more than 35 percent (tag percent) of all child deaths and 11 percent of the global (tag global) disease burden, according to a study (tag study) led by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public health (tag health). The study, published in the medical journal The Lancet, is the first in a series (tag series) of five studies analyzing the global impact of maternal and child undernutrition.
